Revlon Mineral Finishing Powder Review

Today im going to review a pretty highlighter. The Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing Powder in 010 Brighten.

Revlon Claims:

All over enhancing color in a talc-free mineral formula with colorstay longwear.

In the lower right side theres an arrow and lift is written. The paper here lifts up to reveal ingredients and some instructions.

My Review:

The packaging is very nice, a bit bulky, but nice and sturdy. The powder is more like a baked powder. It makes a gorgeous highlighter, and you guys know I love highlighters J . It does have tiny glitter particles in it, which is not a very good thing but its not bad either, its one of my favorite highlighters! The shimmer is silverish to pinkish but there is somewhat a golden touch in there somewhere aswell. And its fragrance free.
It can be used as a finishing powder too, used all over the face it doesn’t look too shiny AS LONG AS you don’t use a lot, it looks just fine and gives a nice glow to the face. Its advisable to use this basically as a highlighter, because it works lovely as that. And as far as staying power is concerned, its very good, even after 8 hours I had a nice highlight on my face J only it had gotten a bit more natural.

Swatch:

Heres an unblended and blended swatch, as you can see it has little visible glitter particles but it doesn’t look bad at all.

                                 unblended                                                                           blended

Pros:

  -lovely highlighter
  -long staying power
  -fragrance free
-lot of product for its price

Cons:

  -tiny glitter particles

Conclusion:

Its one of my favourite highlighters and I would recommend it to all skin types. I got it from Al-Fatah for Pkr 890.

Rating: 4.5/5
