Avon Ideal Flawless Cream To Powder Foundation Review

Today im going to review Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Cream To Powder Foundation in the shade nude. Since its winters and this is a cream foundation, so this is probably a good time to give you guys some info on this.

Avon Claims:

This is an invisible coverage cream to powder foundation, Super light weight formula glides on as a cream with the light texture of a powder. Gives medium to full coverage. Wears for 8 hours.

My Review:

Starting off with the packaging, its a small black compact case which flips open and close. The lid has a mirror inside it. Inside is the small pan in which the foundation is present. The plate with the foundation in it lifts up and under it is a compartment for a sponge to apply the foundation (sorry guys I have lost the sponge so don't have a picture of it :p). Over all packaging is very convenient and nice.
Now on to the product, it has a plastic-y smell. The texture is really creamy. On application it feels creamy too. It gives a medium coverage which is buildable. But building it might make it cakey. Even tough avon says its a cream to powder foundation but it doesn't really set or turn to powder :/ so even if you touch your face, it will probably leave a distortion in the foundation. It glides on as a cream alright but stays gliding on your face :p. It transfers way too easily. Applying it with the given sponge was a nightmare, it was all streaky. The best way to apply it evenly and without the streaks was with fingers.
Oilies and combination skins, this is not for you. I would recommend it for people with very dry skins, this just might suit them, and also if you're using this, use it in winters, it feels a bit heavy and oily on the face. Staying power is 5ish hours if you use a primer and a setting powder/setting spray and don't touch anything to your face.

Swatch:

                                                  Blended                                                                                              Single swipe

Pros:

-Good packaging
-Easy to travel with
-Might suit dry skinned people

Cons:

-Very less product for its price
-stays creamy, doesn't set to a powder
-doesn't set at all
-plastic-y smell

Conclusion:

Over all it is not a very good foundation, it doesn't set so you need to set it with powder (which might make it cakey :/). Not for oilies or combos. Very dry skinned people might like this. Not for me! I got this from D watson F10, for i think Pkr 1490 or so.

My Rating: 2/5
